Use

Handling of long, narrow and rectangular flat glass panes and window elements for facades and conservatories. The suction areas of the elements to be lifted must be air-impermeable, have to have an even and clean surface and must not be covered with protective foil.

Description

The OKTOPUS® GLASS-Jack GL-LN 600 is suitable especially for lifting and installing long and narrow glass elements (e.g. for the installation of conservatories) up to a maximum weight of 600 kg. The additional option to configure the GL-LN 600 cross-shaped extends the application range of the device regarding rectangular glass panes as well.

The crane eye of the device allows attaching the device to an existing hoist (provided by the customer). The suction frame can manually be rotated by 360° and tilted by 90°. The operating and display elements are arranged ergonomically and allow comfortably positioning and moving the load. The electrically operated vacuum pump is supplied with energy by a 24 V DC battery system.

The optional available blow-off function eases and quickens the release of suctioned glass panes. Deviations from the nominal condition are indicated by optical and acoustical warning devices. Even in the case of complete energy breakdown, vacuum remains in each suction pad for at least 5 minutes. In this way a secure lowering of the load is ensured at all times.
